pcPaul Caver (PC) is a native of Dayton, Ohio. He is a self-taught musician playing a variety of instruments, but recognized as a guitarist and vocalist. He is the leader and founder of PC and the FINAL VERDICT and has shared the stage as an opening act for blues and jazz giants such as:

Blues

Bobby Bland, Buddy Ace, Little Milton, Johnnie Taylor, Koko Taylor, Joe Bossamasa, Z.Z. Hill, Willie Clayton, Latimore

Jazz and R&B

Ramsey Lewis, Pieces of a Dream, Jonathan Butler, Larry Carlton, the Manhattans, Booney James, Richard Elliott, the Dramatics, the Ohio Players PC has toured with Alex Bugnon, Lakeside and recorded with Dorian Harewood, Joseph Jackson (father of Michael), Billy Osborne (brother of Jeffrey), Lee Young Sr. (formerly of Motown Records), Eddie Pugh (formerly of Casablanca Records), Reggie Calloway, Mike Wade.

PC participated with the group Frienz as co-writer, co-producer, and lead vocalist and guitarist on the album project LETTER FROM A SOLDIER, dedicated to the troops in Iraq. In August of 2005, PC went to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba to perform for the U.S. Troops. PC released his first debut album TO THE TOP in 1999, and is currently working to finish another after taking a break to do the LETTER FROM A SOLDIER project. PC and the FINAL VERDICT bring a fresh and innovative sound to the world of music while exhibiting a smooth, yet aggressive style of their own.

Mel Waiters

mel-waitersR&B singer Mel Waiters began by performing San Antonio teen clubs,  dee jaying radio, and entertaining at southwest military bases. After 1997’s Suki-Suki Man, Waiters released the LP “I’m Serious”, and the hit single “Hit It and Quit It.” In ’98 Waiters returned with “Woman in Need” ; “Material Things” followed a year later, and in mid-2000 “I Want the Best.”

 

 

 

Walter Beasley rescheduling

The makeup date of Oct 24th is removed from the calendar and we are now attempting to lock in a new date that will return this popular artist to Gilly’s.
