I’m looking forward to seeing Roy Meriwether play again at Gillys Saturday March 21, 2009. Meriwether’s piano style is a soulful blend of jazz, blues and gospel. Roy Meriwether has roots in Dayton, born here, he grew up playing piano in his father’s church. He plays with a powerful “two fisted style” with total command of the instrument.
